Tribute to Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 56. He suffered from a rare incurable cancer of the pancreas.

But, of course, death cannot push Steve Jobs into oblivion because he has achieved immortality through his life and mission. A life dedicated to innovations with the mission of bringing technology within the reach of all men.

To say that he had succeeded in his mission would be an understatement. Starting out very humble, struggling to make a living selling empty coke bottles and living without a roof over his head, Steve Jobs had come a long way to become the chairman and CEO of Apple. He brought us the flawless operating system, Apple McIntosh, and later dazzled us with iPods, iPads, and iPhones. Amazing technology at your fingertips!

Steve Jobs (1955-2011) lived a life of futuristic achievement and innovation. The money never went to his head. He came out of the woeful early days to own $8.5 billion in assets when he stepped down as chief executive. Apple, the company he founded, made the Forbes list with estimated total assets of $400 billion.

Still, Steve remained the same old gentleman. He was cool, soft spoken and down to earth. Money never made him dizzy. He remained a gentleman to the core and dedicated his life and work to his innovations. He was never satisfied with Apple. He ventured into other areas and bought a majority stake in Pixar, the animation company. He sure had the Midas touch and turned everything to gold.

He left Apple at the top, but was destined to return to Apple, when they took over his new company NeXT.

The President of the United States, Barack Obama, while paying tribute to Steve Jobs, has said that with the death of Steve Jobs, the world has lost one of the greatest innovators.

We can unanimously agree on the credentials of Steve Jobs, receiving these posthumous accolades from high places.
