Finches make the best pets

For anyone looking for a pet that is low maintenance, highly entertaining, and extremely forgiving, finches make the best pets.

Finches are small and easy to keep in cages. The little birds come in a wide variety of colors and patterns. Finches, the birds, are found in almost every pet store, so they are easy to buy. And because they’re so common, you can buy them in almost any price range.

Keeping finches as pets makes sense for anyone who works odd hours or travels frequently for work. Just put enough food and water in the cages for the time you’ll be away, and when you return home, your pet will be as happy as when you left. When you return, the cage will need some cleaning, but it will be the pet’s cage that needs cleaning, not your carpet. Other pets may have accidents on your carpets, break your furniture, eat your shoes, or even chew your phone and electrical cords, but the finches will stay in their cage and be content.

If you have a pet dog when you return home from being away, the animal will often pout and sulk. They will be mad at you for leaving them. If you have a lot of work to do, they will demand your attention, even if they have to destroy something to get it. You have to interrupt whatever you are doing and take them out for a walk, or leave them outside. You must treat them for fleas and ticks, or they will cause an infestation of your home with these parasites. If all of that sounds like it might be more than you’re ready to handle, you should look into finches as pets.

The little bird will never pout because you left, or because you didn’t pet them, and they never need to go outdoors. These creatures really don’t like being handled very much. They are happy in their little caged world that you provide for them as long as you remember to feed them and give them water, that is all they need from you.

Try to remember that if you want to keep one of these birds as a pet, you will need at least two birds. They are very social with their own kind and are miserable when they are alone. Providing them with a companion will make all the difference to your little feathered friend.

You can, and you will be very entertained watching the antics of these little creatures. They each have their own personalities, and different species of them have tendencies towards different behavioral characteristics. Some of these animals can sing beautifully, while others never sing.

You will find that some species are aggressive, while others are almost shy. Some of the birds are just curious, they get along with others unless the others are nesting, and then the curious birds will not leave the parents alone.

You will have to explore the different species to find the perfect one for your home.
