Most babysitting jobs will require you to have a first aid certificate and you will need to pass a CRB check before you can start the job.

This can sometimes be difficult to deal with, but experienced child care professionals know how to handle difficult situations. You will learn the tricks of the trade as you gain more experience. For example, offering a child a reward or taking away some of her privileges if she disobeys can help with discipline.

The working hours at this job are pretty standard. However, if you want to work fewer hours, there is an opportunity to do so. There may be a small number of administrators in this role because you will need to keep track of children’s progress and check-ins.
