FlightProsim or Xbox 360?

The real question we must ask ourselves is Game or Realism?

Let’s take a look at the Xbox 360 first.

Until recently (November 23, 2010) there have been approximately 10 flight games designed for Xbox 360. At least 6 of them are old World War II air combat games. The planes you fly are limited and the scenarios are set, you can’t really expand or change them. You fly through imaginary rings in the sky, these are games where once you fly a few “missions”, you’ve basically flown them all. They are simply games and are not compared to flight simulators.

In November 2010 “Apache: Air Assault” was released. It is a serious attempt to compete with the flight simulators. To be fair, it’s a pretty good attempt. The graphics are good and the helicopters handle like their real life counterparts. You can play it as a game where your flight is controlled, your weapons reload automatically.

As long as you maintain altitude, the landscape is great, but if you lose too much altitude and drift close to the ground, the level of detail drops dramatically and the landscape becomes dull and boring with desolate buildings and repetitive landscapes.

The weaponry is true-to-life, allowing you to carry out true-to-life missions.

Helicopters handle like their real-life counterparts, with that said, it can go through three stages of flight. As a newbie, the game is forgiving and small mistakes are allowed. As you progress to Realistic and then Veteran, the jump in handling is huge and you really get a feel for how these vehicles fly. Learning to fly one of these planes is essential before going through the three stages of difficulty.

The downside is limited to flying helicopters only.

Now flight simulators!

FlightProSim offers real-life cockpit controls, sloped runways, thousands of airports, and the freedom to fly anywhere in the world using the aircraft of your choice.

Flight simulator games or airplane simulator games are the order of the day and FlightProsim is definitely one of the best simulation packages that are available on the market today.

Setting this simulator above all others is the range of airplanes that you can practice and get familiar with. You can choose from 80 different aircraft and new ones are constantly being added. Therefore, you can be sure that you can fly almost any type of aircraft.

Flight simulators are used to train professional pilots. The handling of the aircraft is as realistic as possible with cockpits identical to their real-life counterparts. With realistic accessories like joysticks, your senses will tell you that you are really flying. And when you first sit in the premises, you will feel at home.

When you choose a fighter to fly and engage in air combat, your heart will race, you are fighting for your life.

Here you establish the difference between the two. Although both are exciting in their own right, the flight simulator is much more than just a game. It is a true educational program that teaches you to fly. When you have mastered the aircraft of your choice, if you were to fly the real life counterpart, you will have confidence in your training and you will only need an experienced trainer to guide you through the real life process and flight hours to qualify for Your license. .

So, are you looking for a life changing game or challenge?
